Summary - A war is brewing and Sapphire and Steel are sent to stop it, but what they hadn't planned on was The Doctor making a house call.

“Have you gotten them?” The war god, Nafanua, although proud and strong, kept well hidden behind his boulders. He was a god, but he was defying one of his brother gods, one who had a notoriously short temper.

“Yes and they are more precious than pearls, I’m told.” Losi dropped his burden to the ground. The bag writhed, heaved and created a huge racket. He looked around, hoping the pounding surf drowned out the noise.

“They are noisy pearls.” Nafanua studied at the sky. This island was far from the other, but not far enough in his considered opinion.

Tuli was not a god to annoy and they had just stolen a dozen of his finest and most loved birds for a feast to honor Tagaloa, the mighty God of Gods. Had they asked, Tuli might have just handed some over, but he wasn’t known for his generosity. He would be selfish and surrender only a few birds and they would be sure to be skinny and old, not the succulent feast they now had.

It was only right that all the gods should share some of the delicious bird flesh for themselves. When it was steamed with coconut milk, it was indeed a feast worthy of the gods. And, after all, they were gods.

A bolt of lightning lit up the sky and a bush beside Nafanua exploded into flames.

Losi drew a breath. “I think he’s noticed and I don’t think he’s happy about it.” The tree to his left lit up like a giant torch. “Really really not happy.”

Thus began the Great Samoan Chicken War.

“I’m over 900 years old.” The Doctor flopped down into a beanbag, one of his favorite souvenirs from the 60’s. “And a Time Lord.”

“I’m an Element. Parts of me predate you by centuries, but very well, Doctor, you may go first.”

So, the response to the meme has been rather overwhelming. I couldn't be happier: there are some prompts in there that I'm absolutely dying to read. I'm also not entirely sure how word of is spreading: there are people promoting it on tumblr (thanks!), I posted a promo here and at a couple specific fandom communities; but I've never met half the logged-in commenters (which is awesome, nice to meet you all!), and what's more, I've never heard of some of these fandoms before!

Which is fantastic, but I do have one worry. It's great to see such diverse prompts, but it's a Comment-Fic Meme and those aren't nearly as fun as they should be if there aren't fills to go with the prompts. I've been doing my part, but my f-list is obviously dominated by people from my fandoms and this has become a truly multi-fandom meme.

So while I don't want to stop the prompts (not for another week or two at the least), if you're an author in any of the following fandoms, please consider dropping in and seeing if something inspires you (and feel free to leave your own prompt while you're there). Anonymous commenting is ON and IP logging is OFF for now; so if you're feeling a little shy about filling or prompting a kinky situation, you may do so in the comfort of anonymity.

Bear in mind, these are only the fandoms with existing prompts (and if I classified a fandom incorrectly, my apologies, I had to wiki more than a few of these and make my best guess).

Summary: T.A.R.D.I.S. knows her time with real human interaction is coming to an end and when the Doctor frees her in the control room, she does the one thing that she knows will break his heart and start to mend it little by little. She sends a spark of life full of DNA information from the Doctor and her host, as well as her own energy into that little blue ball that her Thief loves so much, to find the vessel the most adequate to nestle this new life. What she doesn't know, for all her power, is that the transfer breaks the mind of an already fragile woman with deadly weapons. Bellatrix Lestrange loses what is left of her mind and just a shy 3 months of term, she's sent to Azkaban for torture and intent of murder. A little miracle born in a place of eternal sorrow. Bellatrix can't take care of a baby and hide him form dementors and guards, she knows that, so she sends a prayer through time and space and a certain bow-tie wearing Time-Lord answers it. And it's only the start...
