Summary: Mitchell visits an old acquaintance, and Angel encounters an old traveling companion while investigating Fangtasia with Spike. Eric, Bill, Mitchell, Angel, and Spike have their first meeting about Russell Edgington and Herrick's plot to conquer humanity.

Here's the first part of an in-progress crossover fic involving the shows Being Human, True Blood, and Angel. The main reason I wrote it is certain events in the season finales of the first two shows gave me good fodder for a crossover fic. I added Angel into the mix because I've recently become a big fan of the show, and honestly, because I couldn't resist cramming as much gorgeous vamp eye candy into one place as possible ;).

A couple of notes. First, for those unfamiliar with Being Human and who are wondering why it is that Mitchell can eat and doesn't turn to ash in sunlight, the reason is the creators of the show threw out virtually every component of the traditional vampire myth and came up with one of their own. In this mythology, vampires drink blood not because they need it to survive, but because being "turned" makes them into blood addicts. That's why Mitchell can do everything a human does and isn't affected by sunlight.
Finally, I've only seen the majority of the first four seasons of Angel, so there are some gaps in my knowledge of it and its characters :}. Anyone who is more familiar with the show than me, feel free to (gently) correct me if something seems too OOC, whether it's style of speaking, behavior, or something else, and I'll gladly fix it :]. Notes: This is speculative for the next season of Being Human, and mostly AC for True Blood after the S3 episode “I Smell A Rat”. It is true to the canon for Angel up to the S5 episode “Time Bomb”, except in terms of what was revealed about Cordelia at the end of the episode “You’re Welcome”. In the background canon for this fic, her waking up from the coma was not an astral projection created by the Powers That Be, but something that actually happened.
