Summary: Seifer spots the trouble cadets in the new batch of SeeDs.
Seifer watched lazily as the new SeeD cadets sized each other up, mentally picking out the ones that would cause the most trouble- namely the ones who were like him, and particularly the ones who had found their equivalent of Squall Leonhart. Speaking of... "Yo, Headmaster."
Squall gave him a long-suffering look, but joined the Garden's commander, Squall's second in command, at the railing. "Are any bleeding yet?"
Snorting, Seifer gestured to the far side where four teenaged boys had gathered. Two, one with dark hair, the other light and spiky, were very obviously sizing each other up and the light haired one kept getting in the other's personal space. "Mitchell and Kazansky. Remind you of anyone?"
"Not particularly."
"Aw, I'm wounded, princess." Seifer mockingly put a hand over his heart. "I was just thinking that they're just like we were at that young and tender age-"
"Ack! Sonuvabitch!" Mitchell had cast a low level fire spell that set the hem of Kazansky's pants on fire and was walking away with a smirk on his face. Kazansky pointed at him. "Fine, we can play like that- Blizzard!"
Seifer grinned as the new Disciplinary Committe leaps into action. The good thing about choosing siblings for the job, triplets no less, is that they were pretty much of the same mind when it came to taking care of problems- one cast Thunder at the miscreants another moved in to finish incapacitating them, and the third played at being god. Once in a while it reminded Seifer of his own posse. "Just like old times, huh?"
"No." Squall looked at Seifer levelly and Seifer swore that inside, the bastard was laughing at him. "If it were just like old times, there would be weapons involved."
Below, Mitchell and Kazansky brushed off the Thunder spell-unfortunately, the triplets had been drilled in making sure spells cast at their fellow students were non-lethal- and Mitchell whipped a sword out of nowhere and Seifer-along with most of the others present- was dying to know where Kazansky pulled that mace from.
Oh yes. Just like old times.
