A/N: These Interludes follow our BtVS/Xmen crossover Victorian story Duplicity, wherein Holmesian investigator Angel and his apprentice Xander were hired by Miss Cordelia Chase and her bluestocking companion Willow Rosenberg to investigate the dastardly kidnapping of Cordelia's dearest friend Rogue, at a time when women were being surgically carved and their bodies found with parts missing. While Rogue's kidnapper had taken her for other reasons, all five, as well as the kidnapper himself, a confirmed rake and gambler named Remy LeBeau, joined forces against a greater evil than they could possibly have imagined. Alas, there were decidedly not happy endings for all. Rogue, in particular, went on the run with a pickpocket she acquired on the docks of London, Faith Lehane, but LeBeau pursued them across Europe and Northern Africa, determined to reclaim the woman he loved. Herein follows some of that which occurred afterwards.
