Game Info: Are you a fan of "Lost," but always wanted to see the characters taken in a different direction? Do you have your own ideas about the mystery of the island and how to solve them? Have you ever found yourself wondering what it would be like if other characters were on the island, such as your favorite television, book, or movie character? Then this is the RPG for you.

Crossing Lost is a multi-fandom crossover with "Lost." When Oceanic Flight 815 crashed on a desert island, it had more than the canon Lostaways on board. There were Immortals, psychics, and grim reapers to just to name a few of the odd character types. Now all of them are working together, surviving together and trying very hard to hide their secret lives from their fellow survivors.

Crossover Newsletter

I note from the community profile that you're one of the maintainers; I thought I'd ask via comment before posting a promo of my own, whether it would be appropriate to do so.

I'm in the early stages of starting up a newsletter strictly for reporting crossover fiction and other crossover fan activities (like crossing_lostrp). I'd like to ask for others' help in identifying crossover communities and users to start off the reading list before I attempt to actually put it into action, and in fact for any advice anyone cares to give; I've never run a community like this before.

How should I post about that to this comm?

Just go ahead and post it as a request. (Preface the subject with "REQUEST:" and you'll be good to go. I think it's an excellent idea, will it be LJ based? Please do keep me posted :-)

Yes. There's no way I could ever hope to keep up with crossovers off-LJ, though I've made a stab at including recs to some of the best in the links section over at my personal website.

I hope to get the newsletter "live" on August 5, as there are several crossover ficathons that I'm aware of that come due in the month of August. I just hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew with this!
