Well, no one told me that i should die for post a bunch of shit like my first chapter so i guess i'll put up a second. Actually no one said anything... 

this is the one with the Sailor moon hints like Dark Lady and time travel. Yeah...

 Later that night:

There were 4 rooms. The biggest, most comfortable one, with a queen sized bed, was the mean teacher lady’s, as to be expected. It had plush carpet, a mirror, a huge dresser, and everything from a DVD player to a stereo. The other 3 rooms were very plain. The horrid pink one was for the girls. Kaiya squirmed at the thought of having to stay in a PINK room. PINK had gotten her mother and father killed. PINK had laughed at the thought of getting even. At least it wasn’t bright pink, or hot pink. In this room, the pinkness didn’t bother her. It was the particular shade of puke mixed with blood pink that bothered her. She remembered where she first saw that color.  She had threw up that color the day her mother and father died. Kaiya shook her head trying to banish the memories. She felt tiny arms around her and she distinctly felt wetness on her cheeks.

“Don’t be sad, ‘nee-chan. Please don’t cry.”

Looking down Kaiya saw Rin hugging her, trying to make her feel better. When Rin looked up at her, chocolate eyes full of innocence and caring, Kaiya broke down. She fell to her knees, in front of the little one, wrapped her arms around her and cried. She cried so hard until she fell asleep, clutching Rin like a lifeline.

*1/2 hour later*

There was a soft knock on the door. Kaiya stirred, careful to not wake the now sleeping Rin. Still holding Rin, seeing as there was no way the sleeping girl was going to let her ‘nee-chan’ go when she so obviously needed a hug, she answered the door. It was Naruto. He looked a little anxious.

“What’cha want?” Kaiya quickly said. ‘If he was going to start a petty fight, please don’t let it be now.’ She thought.

“Come with me. We’re all meetin’ in Seto and Mokie’s room. They said that you are allowed to come, just as long as we can trust you. And…”

“And?” Kaiya asked, raising one eyebrow.

Naruto sighed. “And… I’m sorry, okay?!”

“It’s alright. Come on, just don’t wake up Rin-chan, got it?”

“Yeah, yeah.”

“Glad to know that you agree, Naru-kun.”

“WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?!”

“Shhhh… You’re gonna wake up Rin-chan!”

Naruto grumbled, but stayed quiet for once. He liked the newest girl, she was sweet. He then showed them to Seto’s room. Once inside the door was locked behind them. Hearing the click she said, “What’s so secretive that the door has to be locked? Nobody can get in, but me and Rin can’t get out.”

“If you’re gonna back out do it now. If you don’t and you betray us, you’re life will be a livin hell.”

“Okay. Let me tell Rin-chan. I’m not gonna make her decision for her. Rin-chan. Rin-chan. Wakey-wakey.” Kaiya said.

 

Rin slowly woke up and Mokuba explained everything to her. Rin looked up at Kaiya and said, “I’ll stay. I want to stay with you guys. Don’t you nee-chan?” Rin had her begging eyes. She truly did want to stay, but she felt that if her nee-chan wouldn’t she too, would have to leave them.

 

Kaiya melted. Even if she hadn’t planned on staying before, she definitely would now. “Okay, so what’s the plan?!”

 While i'm at it, i might as well post the 3rd and 4th since i have it...

It was all very simple. The bossy lady switched to another housekeeper person in a week. The boys called her Dark Lady as she hated her name. ‘It’s a name for an innocent girl or a sweet, kind, naïve woman. I am/was neither.’ She would reply when asked about it. At the end of Dark Lady’s time that month they would leave. Dark Lady promised to help them. She hated the way they were treated but could do nothing about it on her own.  

 

Rin liked Dark Lady immediately and Kaiya had a certain amount of respect for her even though her hair was bright pink. As the month Dark Lady stayed went by the group of orphans became closer. By the end of the month they were best friends. Rin and Kaiya were as inseparable as Mokuba and Seto. As for Naruto and Duo, lets just say everyone learned that those to together, by themselves, means Trouble. Lots of Trouble. Dark Lady told them where to go and how to go even to the past. She said she went there whenever she couldn’t stand the present or even the future. It was hard to live and made her appreciate where she was. She gave them this knowledge to help t hem strengthen their bond. They would need each other if they were to survive.

 

The time for the change of housekeepers and to leave this dump forever came too soon for Kaiya and Rin. Even more so for Naruto, Duo, Seto, and Mokuba who had know Dark Lady longer. The day went as planned. The children had packed the few things they wanted in book bags. Dark Lady had brought them uniforms and they looked like a group of school children. They were to climb the tree in the backyard and use it to jump over the barb wire fence.  Then they would go as a group to the library where Dark Lady agreed to pick them up. She would keep them at her house for the night, by them clothes and drive them out of town. The best place for them to not be discovered before they left this era was in the forest. After Dark Lady saw them to the forest, they were on their own. If she was seen with them she would be in big trouble. She was already risking too much as is.

 

“You guys look absolutely adorable!” Dark Lady cooed after they tried the uniforms on.

 

“Why am I in a girl’s uniform?” Duo asked.

 

“Because you look feminine. You guys don’t need any more trouble. Now go out back and ‘play’.” Dark Lady winked at them.

 

“’Kay!” Rin and Mokuba chorused together.

“Sure!” Naruto cheered.

 

“Alright.” Kaiya agreed.

 

“I guess it wouldn’t be too much trouble.” Seto stated.

 

“Whatever!” Duo pouted. He was still a little put off by the ‘You look like a chick’ thing.

 

They stayed outside for an hour before they heard the door slam.

 

“Rhonetta Crocket! My god! You scared me.”

 

“Rini, it is Miss Crocket to you! I am 5 years your senior on this job and about twice your actual age.” Dark Lady snorted mentally.

 

“Where are those brats anyway?” It was a statement, not a question.

 

“Outside playing. I don’t think they should come in until late. Make ‘em skip dinner or something. They were really bad today.” Dark Lady said this louder than normal.

In the Backyard:

 

 

That was their cue. Mokuba was the first up the tree. Being so small he needed help reaching the first branch but after that, he was fine. The Naruto followed him. He may be a klutz, but that was only because he wanted to be. He had the best balance of the group.  He quickly scaled up the tree, putting Mokuba on a safer, more sturdier branch. Next was Seto. The girls and Duo insisted on going last because of their skirts. The boys might not be perverts but that didn’t mean they wouldn’t look! Then Duo, because despite being in a skirt, he was still a guy! Kaiya’s sense of modesty would let her climb before he would while in a skirt. It was one of the few things her mother was able to get into her before she died. Then she boosted Rin up the tree. Kaiya could get up just fine, Rin needed a little boost. When they were all up the tree, they all used their respective branches to get over the barbed wire fence. Then it was a simple matter of jumping down the 15 feet to the ground. Seto jumped down and landed perfectly. As did Duo. Naruto stumbled a little bit and fell but was otherwise fine. Next was Mokuba’s turn. Rin had to jump before he did, just to prove he’d be okay. Duo caught her so she couldn’t hurt herself.

 

“Jump with me?” Mokuba asked her.  

 

Being just as scared as him and also didn’t feel comfortable jumping alone agreed.  Grabbing his hand she said, “Here we go.”

 

They landed in a heap on top of Seto and Duo.  Naruto laughed loudly and Rin giggled. “Owwww…” Mokuba said.

 

“Jeez, you guys are kinda heavy!” Duo whined.

 

“Can you get offa me.” Seto more demanded than asked.

 

“Sorry Seto.” Kaiya said blushing as she stood up. Then she saw the laughing pair.  Playfully (athough Rin and Naruto couldn’t tell) stomping over she said, “What are you too laughing at?”

 

They tried to look at her seriously but with her hair all messed up with random twigs and leaves, her skirt torn, her shirt half sideway, with her hands on her hips practically glaring at them, it sent them into another bout of laughter.

 

Inwardly, she smiled. She liked seeing people laugh. Even more so, she liked watching Rin and Naruto laugh. Even more that she liked watching Duo, Mokuba and Seto laugh.  Outwardly she walked over to them and said, “I’ll teach you to laugh at your big sister, Rin-chan! And you too, Naru-kun!” and began to tickle them. Soon Duo and Mokuba joined her.  The losing pair howled in laughter. Soon all 5 of them had collapsed in giggles. Seto stood to the side of them smiling. Even though he didn’t join in, it was fun watching them all make fools of themselves.  But now was not the time.

 

“Come on. We have to go. You can fool around later.”

 

“Al’ight Seto.” Kaiya said.

 

“Sure!” Duo and Naruto responded.

 

“’Kay Set-Nii-sama.” Rin said shyly. She recently began thinking of everyone as family. She was still shy about calling them all that, especially Seto. She only did it when she thought they were really acting like an older brother /sister would. Being the oldest, whenever Seto bossed them around she would say that.

 

“’Kay, Nii-sama.” Mokuba chirped. Being Seto’s only actual living relative, he called him that regardless.

 

The group left with there backpacks to the library.  Until they passed a hot dog stand. Both Duo and Naruto’s stomachs growled loudly. Kaiya had learned that those two can eat enough to make a cow sick, each. She sighed, knowing what would happen next.

 

“Can we get a hotdog please? Just one?” they begged Seto.

 

“No. What money would you use?” he replied.

 

“Don’t need it, I got skillz like dat. Just your permission!” Duo said, subtlety bragging about his thieving skills.

 

“No.”

 

“Please!!!!!!!!!” They pleaded, using puppy dog eyes.

 

“No.”

 

They turned to Rin, Kaiya, and Mokuba.

 

“Please?” they asked, trying to convince the other to convince Seto to let them steal some food.

 

“You learned the Super Kawaii Can’t Be Resisted Puppy Dog Eyes from me. Being my technique, I am invincible!” Kaiya smirked.

 

“Sorry, I can’t.” Mokuba said.

 

Just as Rin was about to give in and say she’d try, Naruto ruined the face with a scowl. Duo had began pouting and muttering curses. She shook her head of the aftereffects and said, “No. Seto-nii-san knows best so we should listen to him. Besides Duo-kun, we just had breakfast not that long ago. And you had a snack 5 minutes ago, Naru-kun.”

 

The forever hungry duo gave up. One with a sigh, and another with a scowl and a mutter to Kaiya, “It’s all your fault she calls me that!”

 

“And I can accept that, Naru-kun.” Kaiya said.

I think i'm done now. yeah i'm done and tired and blah...
