“If I say you’re too young for me will you hate me?”
He wants to be the perfect guy, hating to let the little school girl that followed him home down, never causing trouble of any kind but he’s already on my bad list.
(at least it was a well-deserved break from Andy)
“Yes, so am I too young for you, Jim?”
Glaring daggers at him, trying to ignore the rest of the office listening in on us, with my mind I was willing him not to utter those dreaded words.
(after Andy I’ve had way too many guys saying the very damn thing)
“Nope, just asking in case you think I’m too much of an old guy for you.”
“You’re the perfect age, just the way I like them.”
I let him pull my hair away from my face and lay a quick kiss on the top of my nose, knowing that he would say ‘I love you’ rather than awesome, before Dwight comes to ruin everything.
(he’s the Jerry of Dunder-Mifflin)
“Jim, if you are breaking up with April, may I have her?”
This whole weird thing was no surprise because Dwight had been making eyes at me every day of this freaking week.
(from the looks of it he has a thing for unfeeling women)
“She’s not mind to give away, Dwight, do you want to go with him, April?”
“No, he’s old and creepy.”
As Dwight headed out the door in a huff, but it never stops him from saying the same thing tomorrow, we share a high-five.
(and with him I always have to j
ump up)
“That’s my girl.”
