My goodness, what a beauty you are, may I ask where you get your makeup?”
The moment I stepped in the door, after out running their cold hands trying to wash the white from my cheeks and rip away my black clothes, he ran his fingers over my dry make-up.
(that lovely voice of his and mile long scars gave him away)
“Not the same place as you, Chuckles. Now, how about keeping those hands to yourself? I don’t want the suits to come and turn me into a carbon copy of them.”
Their eyes were watching our every movement, most of them watching him because of his vip status, and was not about to trade my awesome boots for slippers.
(even the joker here kept some sort of color about him, even if it was the blood of others)
“That lovely uniqueness of yours will be gone quite soon, darling, let me enjoy it before they strip away the last bit of fun from this drab place.”
He had already stolen most of my make-up and placed it on his boring tan face, making him look even more like the deadly face on the tv, and I did not want him to start something over face paint.
(but if he tries to take the lip stick we might have some trouble)
“Fine, honey, you can touch my cheeks that’s it. And hopefully I will not have the pleasure of talking to ever again.”
It was quite clear that I was not going to leave this place any time soon, pretending to be the angel of death can look bad to any shrinks, and I did not want my best friend to the freaking joker.
(plus I’d rather have some teen age boy following me around rather than a thirty-year old crazy man)
“I can’t promise that, dollface, you are just too lovely to keep away from.”
“Lucky me.”
