Title: Keeping Me Company
Fandom: One Tree Hill/Supernatural
Author:
rosie1234
Disclaimer: Not Mine
Character/Pairing/Group: Peyton/Dean, Brooke
For: 25crossovers, theechochorus, xoverland
Prompt: Song Lyrics ( Collide by the Howie Day), Phone, 84. Old Friends
Word Count: 301
Summary: “Your voice fits you, Winchester.”
Rating: PG-13
“About time you called, buddy, Brooke has been bugging the hell out of me to talk to you.”
The moment her voice came out the other end my nerves seemed to disappear and I easily feel into a conversation with this strong spoken young woman.
(having no idea just how free spirited little miss Peyton Sawyer was)
“Did she tell you everything, Miss. Sawyer?”
I had saved Brooke from many a vengeful spirit on my last trip to Tree Hill, and I bet she will be haunting me for not going out with her, and she had given me Sawyer’s phone number.
(‘I wish you all the luck in the world, with P. Sawyer, you’ll need it.’)
“Of course, she loves telling ghost stories and your life is a huge one. And by the way, call me Peyton or at least Sawyer, cut all the miss crap.”
Just like in the beginning I grin like a madman the moment she speaks, imagine myself as a girl and you get Sawyer, and keep answering the phone whenever she calls.
(and this was a girl I never thought of not calling back)
“Okay, Sawyer, how about I tell you my version of the story?”
Telling my little sob story to her was easier then anyone before, it helped that had an open mind that she would need later, and it felt great to talk to someone.
“Go ahead, solider, I’m all ears.”
-
“Peyton Sawyer, it’s about damn time.”
I wrap my arms around her, the rest of her just as beautiful as her voice was, like I’ve been at war and she was waiting for me like a good wife.
(taking this little time I have with her knowing that soon I’ll get sucked right back in)

Date: 2011-11-25 01:59 am (UTC)I always thought that Dean and Peyton would be great
together. They just fit.
I hope you keep writing them, there aren't many Deyton fics around.
