“What brings you to this little community collage of mine, Miss Lane?”

The moment that Lois Lane had stepped through the doors of Greendale I had made it my number one job to welcome her with open arms, and it helped that I wanted her to be in those arms badly, and with a whole of shoving and stepping on people I made it to her first.

(it was like a damn marathon and it did not help that most of them were playing dirty, mainly me)

I knew it was worth every second when she shook my hand, which might not be washed for a damn long time, and smiled back at me, and yes I did melt a little inside.

“It’s what I get for dropping out for school to investigate my cousin’s fake death, which ended with me kicking some bad guy butt; but that’s a very long and strange story, anyway I’m here to my journalism degree.”

It was hard to hear any of her words, I was captivated by those lips of hers (those which I hoped soon would be kissing by own), and that smile that made this chilly heart of mine warm up.

(none of the girls in my life, and because I’m so damn awesome I’ve had a lot, have made me feel like that)

“Sounds exciting, well, Lois, ready for that tour I promised you?”

Without thinking I put out my arm for her to take, not really caring that it was super cheesy, and was praying that she would take it.

I don’t know if I could handle rejection at this point, she after all is my dream woman in every form.

(and will never stop being so)

“Of course I am, Jeff, lead the way.”

(damn that smile it will be the death of the ruthless lawyer inside of me)
