“Would you care to see something mind blowing, Summers?”
That forever growing smirk of his was in place as always, reminding of the bleach blond father figure in my strange life, and it was clear that it was not going to go anywhere any time soon.
(this one is helping me with the whole bad boy part of teen hood and doing a good job so far)
“I’ve had my mind blown on a regular basis for so many damn years, go ahead and try, John.”
It grew into something other than a smirk, which for him is pretty much, a damn miracle; because he already knew that what would be coming from him would be able to provide me with a whole mess of mind blowing.
(it has been forever since I went to Buffy’s just for a hit of chaos)
I’ve seen a lot of flames in my life, those damn cigarettes (that Buffy flushed whenever she could) made my fingers black for months, but this the one that was coming out of his fingertips was by far the best.
“And I think you’ve succeeded, Pyro, it was blown all the way across the damn room.”
These days I usually find myself trapped in relationships with mutants and supernatural creatures (at least this one does not have any damn fangs), and ninety-nine present of the time they turn out to be the villains of the story, but this one was turning out to be more hero.
(it helps that I’ll never have to get another lighter in my life when I have sparky by my side)
A true smile came shining out on both of our faces, already hoping that I would a period in my life filled with grins rather than those dreadful frowns, and when I took my hand in his he warmed me up faster than any other.
(no hot chocolate for this girl just a quick kiss from John is like a bowl of hot soup)
“I was hoping it would, Dawn, see you’re not the only freak in the building.”
