The moment he had burst through into my world, filled with freezing space and the chill of metal, and brought me to his my eyes have gotten to see such amazing things.

(this broken mind of mine can barely handle everything)

And when we stumbled into this strange place, he called it earth a place filled with ‘dinner’ and lots of fun, I got my first ever look at snow.

It came down one snowflake at a time landing on every part of my skin and on my waiting tongue.

(disappearing the moment it came into contact with me)

“Go ahead, princess, just make sure you’re a good girl and you don’t go and wonder off.”

I had my hand locked with his keeping them nice and toasty, something Simon was so very good at, and it was clear that he was having trouble letting go.

“Thank you, Angel.”

He slowly released me into this winter wonderland and before I ran off to be engulfed by it I left one warm kiss on his cold finger tips.

(while he watched me the whole time wanting to take me back, not wanting the world to steal me away from him)

When he finally pulled me back in, taking hold of my shivering hands once again, I was covered in nothing but white and about to freeze.

“Silly girl, you’re freezing to death, and I can’t warm you up.”

I could tell that he regretted those last words, about that chilly skin of his, because he did not want me to see the monster that was buried deep inside.

Even though the first time I saw him, ripping into my world and not expecting this little girl to follow him back, I saw every part of him, fangs and all.

“But I can keep you all nice and warm, Angel, now how about some hot chocolate?”
