Some call it fate, I've heard that damn word so many times over the course of my life I just might hurl, bumping into another person that life is almost a mirror of your own.
(and yet both of our faces are filled to the brim with smiles)
But the world would have it (the very thing we enjoy saving on the weekend) that thanks to my new 'pretending to be adult' heels I would be tumbling down on my first day of collage and falling face first in Sam Winchester.
(I can hear sister-dear laughing over it right now)
“Whoa there, are you okay?”
Strong hands gently push me back into a standing position, yet another person saving me but this time it was from planting my face on the pavement, and I get a full view of his cute smiling face.
('my god, Dawn, why did it have be him you landed on? how embarrassing!')
“I am now, thanks to you. I'm Dawn Summers majoring in art, and trust me I'm not this clumsy is real life.”
I didn't want this new chance of a normal love life to fly by me because I'm a silly 'tripping over everything' freshman.
(it was day light so another vamp incident was not going to bring me down)
“Well, Dawn, I'm Sam Winchester majoring in law, and I would love it if you'd get some coffee with me?”
With just a nod of my head, not wanting to screw this up with a throw up of words (something I'm a master at), his hand laced with mine making sure I didn't fall again and pulling me along into a new life.
-
Over a hot cup of coffee, which I thankfully did not spill on him (like many before him), I knew it was over when my mouth opened wide and spilled the story of my acid trip life.
(telling of my strange childhood was not a good relationship starter)
“Oh god, I bet you think I'm such a freak. I'll just go.”
I didn't get the chance to make my swift escape before he took a hold my hand and lead me back to our little smug table.
(no one to over hear and think I was a loony-toon)
“I'm a little bit of a freak myself, Dawn, and it's nice to finally tell someone about it.”
The story of his scary childhood, almost as crazy as my own (but I got the dancing demons wanting to make me their queens), spilling out and we found out just how alike we truly were.
“It looks like we have the perfect relationship in the making, Sam, no secrets and maybe some demon hunting on the side.”
(so much for that normal love like of mine)
