With only a few beers, each one of them drowning away something, the horror tales they both called their lives came spilling out.

(drunk Abby took the whole 'monsters under the bed are real' shit pretty well)

“And instead of it being behind the scenes we get a front row seat to it all, even get a handful of their blood.”

(it had taken days to wash Henry's blood but yet it was somehow still there, everywhere)

As he pulled her close, the days on Harper's Island (that had only ended a few weeks ago) were still shaking beneath her skin, they both got a good taste of hell and broken souls.
