“Sammy, my twisted-all-up-inside little baby, I think that you just broke the world.”
While Dean was busy finishing off Ruby, with nothing but a wide grin (Same one he wore when Meg bit the dust), she found her way to me to see the chaos I had let lose.
“I'm so sorry, River, I-I didn't know.”
It's hard to read her, the only one who can understand her rambles and looks is Cas, but I know just like Dean that distrust already filled her up.
(Dean's were shining with it so much that it hurt to look at him)
“Don't worry, I knew, knew from the moment your big old eyes found mine. That you were the one that would love me and ruin me at the same time. I always knew.”
Before another 'sorry' could slip past my lips, only to prompt her to call me a silly goose (it always happens when say sorry one too many times), a white light surrounded us.
“Here he comes, ready to watch us dance until we burn.”
The door was opening wide as if to shallow us up, letting out the thing that forever haunted my dreams, and before I could blink everyone was gone.
“River!”

It's hours, more then I can handle away from her (but not enough for both her and Dean), before she comes skipping back to us.
(even if we went anywhere in the world she would find us)
“Cas, Cas my guardian angel, the one that went boom and came back together again, brought me home. His way of travel is better then any kind of car or ship, don't you think so boy?”
Her voice don't crack and it doesn't sound like she's pretending at all, unlike Dean who's lying through his teeth, but the hurt is clear as day in her eyes.
(the eyes that see everything and everyone, that know all my sins)
“Don't read me, lover, not yet. I'm done hurting, you should care about big brother more then I, and ready to stand by you until the world burns. And it will, I can feel it.”
She wouldn't let me explain or let another apology come out, she can see each shining word already without them being said, just put her small hands in mine and smiled.
“Great, Sammy, you bring on the freaking apocalypse and you still get the girl. That's just great!”
