Notes: Part of my Le passé nous laisse (brisés) story arc. When Integra becomes mysteriously ill and Dr. Trevallyn doesn't know what to do, to whom else to send her but the front-runner of genius diagnosticians? Features House's original team. I spent eight hours straight researching a certain infectious disease for this fic and I hope the quality of the writing reflects that... I'm interested in some serious concrit!
For non-Hellsing fans,
Integra Hellsing: Head of the British secret organization Hellsing, Killin' Vamps Since A Really Long Time Ago. Inherited the position from her dad. She's gorgeous but downplays it - dresses as a man, has a deep and somber voice, smokes cigars, is definitely a Fearless Leader. Takes crap from no one. A dedicated Protestant, hates Catholics (the Hellsing organization's main enemy is the Vatican's Section XIII). Would literally rip her own throat out to keep from becoming one of the Undead.
Walter Dornez: Retainer to the Hellsing family. Angel of Death-turned-butler. Seems to be just a nice, sweet old man until you learn that he's actually a killing machine who can brew up a mean tea while taking out an entire army of the undead with a flick of his fingers. Favorite weapons are microfilament razor-wires, AKA the Dental Floss of Doom. Highly protective of Integra; he's known her since she was an infant and served her father since he was a teenager during WWII. They battled Nazi Vampires together!
Alucard: Integra's vampire servant and The Only 'Good' Vampire. Is actually the original vampire. He's bound to Hellsing through some weird magic that I don't entirely understand, but he's programmed to adore the current leader. He's pretty much impossible to kill, and has very few of the weaknesses commonly associated with vampires (he can tolerate sunlight, even). However, he can't cross large bodies of water unless he's in a coffin filled with dirt from his homeland. He's about five hundred years old.
Some fans think that Integra and Alucard are lovers, and while there is definitely a strong bond between the two, I tend to doubt it, because Integra's too devoted to her duty to sully herself with her vampire pet, even if he is pretty hot.
Integra is Twenty-Two.
