Author's Notes The next few chapters are going to be… weird, chronologically. Each of the next four chapters (including this one) is based on the Elements. So, this chapter (Chapter 5) is Water, Chapter 6 is Earth, 7 is Fire, and 8 is Air. The first part of each chapter is the tests SG-1 went through, and the second part constitutes part of their training. So the timeline’s jumbled up a bit here. Was that clear enough?
