A Plot Bunny/Challenge
A Wizarding Tomorrow Person? A Tomorrow Person in Hogwart's School? Harry Potter and the Tomorrow People?
I have my hands full, but I got this scene snippet and thought it would work for a challenge.
"Weston."
Jade nearly leaped from her skin, biting back the yelp of surprise as her shopping bags dropped to the floor of her flat,at the sound of the unexpected voice coming from the couch of her flat. Taking in the sight of her unexpected and uninvited guest, she rolled her eyes and managed to put as much coldness in her voice as he did in his. "Malfoy. What are you doing here?"
Malfoy adjusted his wizarding robes, "I've been giving it some thought, Weston, and I've come to the conclusion that Tomorrow People really can't be mud-"
"Don't," Jade's eyes narrowed at him.
Malfoy appeared to hover between listening to her and challenging her. In the end, he simply shrugged it off as though her words did not affect him and he hadn't been interrupted, "muggles, not in the sense that my people have come to think of muggles. True, you are non-magical, but perhaps there is a chance that your other abilities are simply another manifestation of magic.
"After all, there's no way you truly could be non-magical, because Malfoys are pure blood wizards. And there's no way I could possibly be one of you if you were all purely muggle stock."
"Thank you for the Malfoy Treatise on Tomorrow People and their relationship to muggles. Is there some reason that you're in my flat in the middle of the afternoon?"
Draco Malfoy took a deep breath and let it out slowly. When he began speaking again, Jade distinctly noticed the patient dulcet tones that adults normally used for speaking with children and it only raised her ire more. "I am trying to explain to you, Weston, that I've had time to consider this from all angles and I've realized that no matter what, I am a Tomorrow Person and I can't change that. As a matter of course, because clearly I can't be in any way muggle, nor are any of you truly purely muggle, this only makes me a better wizard."
"Huh?" Jade really wanted to say something more articulate. In fact, she had a scathing remark all prepared but his odd logical leap made her wonder what turn off in the conversation she had missed.
"I am a Malfoy, from a long line of pure blood wizards and one of the oldest wizarding -"
"Families in the wizarding world, yadda yadda yadda," Jade waved a hand impatiently. "I have heard this speech before. It didn't impress me the first time either, if I recall."
It was Malfoy's turn to look put out and his eyes narrowed, a wrinkle creasing his forehead as he scowled at her. "All right, I'll break it down in the most simple of terms that you can understand. I am a powerful wizard. I am a Tomorrow Person. This makes me unique, and more powerful than any other wizard."
Jade opened her mouth then suddenly snapped it shut, biting back her retort as his words registered. "You've finally come to your senses and accepted that your one of us?"
"Isn't that what I've been saying?"
"No you've been prattling on about how perfectly pure your blood is and," Jade shook her head and waved a hand dismissively. "Fine, you're one of us. You accept it. That still doesn't tell me why you're in my flat and you felt the need to share it with me?"
"I know all about being a wizard, Weston. I went to school for that. But I know nothing about being a Tomorrow Person if I am going to learn then I will need a teacher. You are going to teach me."

All right, a few things requirements about this challenge:
- Takes place after Order of the Phoenix and after the final book of the series (which might get "Jossed" by Rowling by killing Draco in books six or seven, but oh well)
- Has to explain how Draco managed to avoid taking the Dark Mark and killing during the war (because otherwise, he couldn't become a TP)
- Draco Malfoy is a nasty, spoiled, snobbish, bigoted little git. We all know/knew people like this in high school. He is not hiding a heart of gold; he is not secretly in love with Harry Potter or Hermione Granger or Ron Weasley. He's an ass ten different ways.
- Draco either broke out during the war with Voldemart or sometime after and has been an insufferable prick towards the other Tomorrow People because he's been unable to accept it until whatever led up to this particular scene with Jade
Anyone up for the challenge?
