Chapter Two

Fandom: Leverage/Supernatural
Title: To Salt the Flame, Part One
Pairing/Characters: Eliot Spencer, Father John Winchester
Word Count: 3,349 (this part)
Rating: R-ish
Summary: Pre-Series for Leverage, AU pre-series for SPN. John Winchester lost everything, and surrendered all that was left into the church that saved him. He became a priest who served his God in the traditional ways, as well as a few less traditional ways. Eliot Spencer is a young man restless and on the move, trying to outrun his past and chasing a life of painful destruction toward his future. When the two collide one stormy night, it leaves a mark...on both of them.

A/Ns & Warnings: This will develop into priest!kink. Both our boys have dark pasts and when they come together, demons of the figurative kind may not be the only thing they have to deal with. I blame this on [info]havenward...but then...what don't I blame on her?

Judging from the scars and fading bruises, the kid lived by his fists and likely hadn't had a home for a while. The knife cut on his arm was clean at least and Father John took time to apply antiseptic before the bandages.

Note: Since everyone seemed to love these two (me included) I thought it was about time I wrote them again. Plus the massive amounts of videos I found on them helped a lot.

Title: Too Close to the Moon
Author: lady_moriel
Fandoms: Doctor Who, Harry Potter
Rating: PG
Characters: Ten, Rose, Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks
Pairings: Remus/Tonks, a tiny bit of implied Doctor/Rose
Original prompt: "Remus Lupin, Ten, werewolves"
Warnings: A very little bit of violence, and some Dark Arts nonsense with blood and such. For what it’s worth, I’m aware of the use of Impervius in the books, but I needed something for this function, and [info]fernwithy used it just like this in Shades. Might as well copy from a good fanwriter if you’re going to use semi-dubious fanon, right? And I also decided to ignore the sticky problem posed by the Harry Potter references in “The Shakespeare Code.” Because…it was long enough and there was already too much expository dialogue. Any mistakes in Britspeak (and I’m sure there are some) are…pretty much all my fault, but you can also blame Google for not leading me to the right sites.
Author’s notes: Takes place in early OotP and some time in DW season 2 after “The Idiot’s Lantern” (because of a minor reference, but the only important thing is that you’ve seen “Tooth and Claw”). Originally written for a Doctor Who crossover fic exchange. This was going to be the first of a two-parter, the second part of which I hope to write eventually, because one of my other two prompts was for a DW/HP/Supernatural crossover: “Sam Winchester / Remus Lupin / Ten”. And of course my idea for that developed before my idea for this story, and I liked it better, but it was after this one chronologically, so I decided I’d better write this one first. And then I ran out of time. So…anyone who cares can look forward to that, or not, and in the meantime you can assume that anything in this fic that seems to foreshadow something that never happens is a reference to that second part.

“Werewolves,” Rose said. “Again?” )
