AU. Jack adopts Harry.
Gen (non-romance) or Slash (male/male).


Prompt: The Dursleys went on vacationed in America and somehow brought Harry along with them. In a freaky plane/car/train/whatever accident eveyone was killed, only Harry survived. The first mission to Abydos happened much earlier. When Jack retired the second time, Harry was around 5 or 6 or 7 years old. The retired colonel adopts an aphasic little boy. No one knows the boy is a foreigner, neither did they know he's a survivor from an accident. When Daniel came back, Jack asks him to be Harry's godfather. Someone finds out Harry can speak, just not in English and not to humans. He speaking parseltongue, which was understand by all snakes and, well, snake-heads. Some bad guys (NID or Goa'uld or Death Eaters) want to get their hands on young Harry.
