Three Starman crossovers

stop_no_dont's highly amusing Clipper fics have inspired me to post three Starman crossovers I've written over the past few years. The first two are available in Adobe Acrobat format from my Peregrine website.

Title: Masquerade
Fandom: Starman/Roswell (early first season, between eps "Balance" and "Toy House")
Rating: PG
Summary: On December 6, 1999 Scott Hayden, the 27 year old son of the Starman and Jenny Hayden, arrived in Roswell tired, scared, and more than a little paranoid. He'd driven for three days after narrowly escaping capture in his hometown of Madison, Wisconsin. The peaceful existence that Scott and his family had enjoyed for nine years had evaporated. Alone in Roswell, Scott needed a paycheck to live on while he waited for his parents to join him -- and for the nightmare to end. Of the classified ads in the local newspaper the temporary teaching position at the high school interested Scott. Little did he know how interesting his students would be.

Title: Double Take
Fandom: Starman/Probe
Rating: PG
Summary: Two weeks after the Starman "Starscape" episodes Paul and Scott are in Phoenix, Arizona. An observant police officer recognized the pair, initiating a wild footchase that nearly ended with Scott's capture. Fortunately all they lost was Scott's jacket, which unfortunately contained his sphere. The magic marble ends up in the hands of Austin James, a brilliant but misanthropic scientist with an insatiable curiosity. Can Paul and Scott get the sphere back before Fox catches up with them?

The last fic is actually unfinished. Although I'll probably never finish it, IMO there are plenty of entertaining parts. I posted the bits and pieces of the first four chapters to Sci-Fi Minds hoping that someone would take the bit in their teeth and run with it. So far no dice. If you'd like to try your hand at it, be my guest. :)

Title: Nothing Left to Lose
Fandom: Starman/Quantum Leap/X-Files
Rating: PG
Summary: Set in New England in the late 1980s, "Nothing Left to Lose" follows the events in the Starman fics A Star by Any Other Name and Friends of My Father. (You don't need to read them to follow the story.) Paul and Scott are separated, and the FSA captures Scott. Hijinx ensue, involving a fresh-out-of-the-academy Fox Mulder and time-travelling physicist Sam Beckett.
