I now have two lists up on the community for those wanting to get started on reading etc.
Clarification on the rules: Earlier I said they needed to be active in fandom. However I do not want those who have posted fairly frequently in the past to miss out on their works to be considered. So, anything that has been entered in the Smallville BigBang in the past two years is eligible. Having said that, any others who have only posted sporadically over the time period may not be eligible. Check with me first if you are unsure. If you have been fairly prolific in the past but haven't posted very much in the last year you may still be eligible.
Nominations will be open on Sunday (US time) and the rules for nominations will be up then. The lists below are not nominations. These are lists of works the authors and artists would like to be considered for nomination. These lists are to make it easier for those wanting to take part in the awards to find each work.
I will make one rule very clear before the nominations. No author or artist will be allowed to nominate their own works. At all. Please play by the rules people. I want to make this fair on everyone.
Don't forget, if you have friends on any other site, eg: KSite, fanfiction.net, Divine Intervention, Dreamwidth, Redhaze, blogspot, or anywhere else they allow fanworks, please alert them to this community. You do not have to be a member of LiveJournal to be able to take part. Bear in mind that some sites do not allow you to view R or NC17-rated stories or works unless you are a member. If you have the works posted elsewhere, feel free to post the links in a comment.
These lists are not final. Should you wish to nominate an author/artist or fanwork not on these lists, you are welcome to do so. If you have not already sent me a list by PM, please do so. We will still put up lists during the nomination period. Send your lists, with links in full.
