I would like to see either a mention or appearance from Connor.
I was thinking about that the other day, actually :]. This fic is meant to be the first part of an at least three-fic story. I'm planning to end this one with some form of news that Russell and Herrick are starting their rampage to conquer humanity. The second part would naturally be the conflict itself, and the third, its aftermath. Anyway, the occasions I've mulled over what to do in part two, I've considered adding Connor into the mix, along with a few of the characters from Buffy. I'm not sure who on that front, as I've just now started watching it, and so don't "know" any of them well enough that I'd be comfortable writing them. Still, as I said in my A/N at the time, I didn't completely "know" anyone in Angel, either (though I think I do now, considering I've watched pretty much the entire show two or three times, at my last count :P), but I still took the plunge, so I may do it again :]. On the subject of this fic, I'll see how I can get Connor in, as it's probably going to be awhile before I get to the second part :P. If you have any ideas about how I can include Connor in this, I'd be glad to hear them :].
Yeah? I'm glad :). I'd have loved to be able to include Fred, as she's become one of my favorite characters, but given the time period I'm setting the fic in (as I said in my A/N, in between "Time Bomb" and the last few eps of the series), and wanting to remain as true to canon as possible, I couldn't :[. I did love Illyria, though :). I'd imagine a number of people who saw the series when it originally aired weren't particularly happy about Whedon & Greenwalt making the choice to have Fred die, then be resurrected as Illyria, but if I'd been part of the audience at the time, I wouldn't have been upset.
